Eternal Life

Preview: What happens within those of God’s children as they earn eternal life.


Scripture Reading: II Corinthians 5:17-21.

Memory Verse: John 17:3.

1. What takes place inwardly in those that are converted? Ezekiel 36:26-27.
2. Who only has spiritual life? I John 5:12.
3. When are we able to claim eternal life? I John 5:13.
Note: Christ removes the stony heart from those that are converted. He replaces it with a new heart and His Spirit and causes the individual to serve Him. This is a mystery to the natural mind. Christ has eternal life and can give it to whoever He will. When the saint is laid away, Christ cares for that indwelling spiritual life, which He will receive again on resurrection day.
