I Am

Preview: The many places in the Bible where the Lord declares what He is.


Scripture Reading: John 10:1-18.

Memory Verse: John 10:14.

1. What claim is made by the Lord in the Bible? Isaiah 44:6 & Isaiah 45:5-7.
2. Does this great “I AM” change? Malachi 3:6.
3. How is He connected with the Bible and its faith? Hebrews 12:2.
4. What testimonies did He make that proved this? Isaiah 42:8-9 & Isaiah 46:9-10.
5. What can the one do who says “I am God”? Isaiah 45:7 & Deuteronomy 32:39.
6. Is He the Savior? Isaiah 43:11 & Isaiah 45:22.
7. How is His character described? I Peter 1:15-16.
8. In what way did He describe Himself? Song of Solomon 2:1-2.
Note: The words “I AM” are in the present tense. When they are added to God, the Lord, or Jesus Christ, we can be sure it is for us today. Jesus, through His life here on earth, said, “I AM a Leader, a Commander, Love, Mercy, Kindness, a Healer, a Deliverer, a Friend of sinners, and the Savior of the world. These blessings, benefits and promises are still for us today.
